We stayed two nights in the luxury of Mandalay 1941. The staff was beyond welcoming and the service was on point. I have worked in hospitality for 15 years and the level of care and attention to detail by Anna and her husband was outstanding. The bed is amazing and the food is the best we tasted on our trip. Torrent ducks on property with huge numbers of local resident birds. We spent 2 nights at this hotel in January. The hotel is in the countryside and is very peaceful with lots of birds in the garden. We saw a humming bird from our bedroom busy collecting nectar from the flowers next to our window. The beds are very comfortable and the food is good. The owners of the hotel are a charming couple who are very welcoming and attentive hosts. They organised a tour for us in the region with a driver who also acted as a guide. They were also very supportive when my husband had a medical problem.
